Review: Skinfood Parsley and Mandarin Spot Gel (For Troubled Skin)

Hello 안녕하세요~ Today I'll be reviewing the Skinfood Parsley and Mandarin Spot gel for oily and troubled skin!

What is it? Taken from the Skinfood SG website
An effective treatment gel made from Parsley & Mandarin Extracts to rid nasty spots. Also protects and soothes skin from irritation. Eliminate acne and blemishes spot on – with Parsley & Mandarin. Parsley contains anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing properties to combat acne while Mandarin contains Vitamin C to control excess sebum and aids in skin recovery
The Parsley and Mandarin Spot Gel is part of Skinfood's Oily and Troubled skin range along with the Tea Tree Oil products.

Skinfood's cute 'cupid' logo that says Food Therapy. Yay for adorable marketing!

To Use: Apply gel to cotton swab or fingertip and gently pat onto troubled spots. Use on your clean face after cleansing and toner.

Packaging: The 15ml gel product is encased in a recyclable plastic squeeze tube with a small tapered hole to allow maximum control in how much product you want to use. The colour of the screw top is a nice satin bronze while the tube is decorated with a range of orange and manila yellow.

The clear gel absorbs extra quickly, making it perfect to apply before going out or bed. The gel neither smells like parsley or mandarin, it's hard to describe. However, the frangrance is not overwhelming or strong and it later dissipates.

After use, my acne is significantly less red and the size has been reduced slightly. It is not drying and I like to use it around 2 times a day.

I bought this product for A$9.00 at SASA.COM There's a sale currently but it is also out of stock. Don't worry though, SASA stocks products fairly regularly. It seems like every product I review is purchased at SASA, I just can't help it. Their products are affordable and I can never resist walking into a store whenever I'm in Hong Kong!

Pros:
Pleasant fragrant
Recyclable packaging
Tapered narrow head
Easily available
Not drying
Natural ingredients

Cons:
Expensive for a product that does not rapidly reduce acne size
Sometimes it works well and sometimes it doesn't (Inconsistent)

Overall, I wouldn't repurchase this due to the fact that I believe there are better acne targeted products on the market. This gel is particularly aimed at people with troubled skin from environmental and stress factor and not for hormonal individuals like myself.
